Volunteering at AWS PE as a group of friends, or with your company/school is a wonderful way to connect with your peers, enrich your life and bring joy to a needy animal. Group visits help decrease the stress levels of our shelter animals through socialisation and exercise, and your group may also be able assist our staff with small on-site projects.

We welcome schools who want their learners to visit and volunteer at AWS PE. We firmly believe that the key to creating a better future for animals and their welfare is by educating children. School visits not only equip children with knowledge about animals, but more importantly, they are designed to promote positive attitudes, build empathy and develop responsible behaviour. We aim to help children develop into responsible citizens within their communities.

If your company is looking for a Corporate Social Investment (CSI) opportunity, you have come to the right place. Few initiatives are as close to the heart of so many as the wellbeing of animals and we see this daily in the amount of publicity generated by our work. Your time spent at our shelter will enable you to make a real impact to a worthy cause.
